Royal Seed’s ESG Commitment: Growing Together with The Hope House Babies Home

In our continuous journey towards Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) excellence, Royal Seed is proud to share our recent initiative that exemplifies our core values of sustainability, community support, and social responsibility. We recently donated free seeds to The Hope House Babies Home, a special haven for orphaned and abandoned babies located in Mountain View Estate, Nairobi This initiative aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering growth and our mission to make a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Partnering for a Greater Cause

This heartwarming project was brought to our attention by Kavita, Founder of Kavz Kuizine, a valued partner dedicated to culinary education and community involvement. Kavita informed us about The Hope House Babies Home and its unique needs. The babies home, known for its nurturing environment and dedication to the welfare of babies, aimed to enhance the nutritional quality of the food provided to the children by incorporating more organic produce. Royal Seed responded by donating a variety of seeds to help them grow their own fresh produce, ensuring a sustainable and healthy food source for the children. Suraj from Herbivore is managing the planting and harvesting, overseeing the project on behalf of Kavz Kuizine.

Our other ESG Highlights

On World Environment Day 2023, Royal Seed hosted an event for Kanani Girls High School students on sustainable farming. They also supported Olepolos Primary School with 1,000 exercise books.

In West Pokot County, Royal Seed, alongside Sukuma Twende Trust and Wells Fargo, provided aid including food, clothing, and kale seeds to families affected by severe weather.
